Research

Ugh what is it about me that I like to do research enough to stay up all night doing it and ENJOY it? For some unfathomable reason, I like scoping out, promising titles, delving into the stacks (though I still ran away from the BFAL and the PRs tonight), and coming up with a stack of sources to examine and determine the value of. And now it's even more fun to check the call number by laying a long-nailed finger on the spine--watching how graceful my elegantly decorated fingers look flipping through a book. And, if at 16 I'd told my father that I'd ever be searching for a book called Lesbian Erotics for my feminist take on Dracula, he'd have laughed. Of course, if anyone'd told me that all 7 seasons of Buffy are available in Fondren, I'd've laughed. What a crazy world. More to come on this whole "research" thing.
